Did you catch the premier of the new HGTV show, Flipping the Block? Here is what you’re in for:
“In the eight-part series hosted by Josh Temple (“House Crashers”), four teams will transform identical run-down condos and then sell them to the highest bidder, in hopes of taking home a $50,000 prize. Of course, things wouldn’t be nearly as fun without a catch and this one is a doozy — the teams have no idea what they will be doing on the show or anything about the prize money when they arrive on the scene. Tune in to see how each team reacts to the news they will be renovating condos for seven weeks. Each week Temple, along with HGTV staples David Bromstad (“HGTV Design Star”) and Scott McGillivray (“Income Property”) will help guide the teams as they are responsible for designing, renovating and furnishing a different section of the condo. First up — the master bedroom.”

Sounds amazing, right? Well, luckily two of the teams decided that DENY Designs would be the PERFECT place to find that pop of color and personality to inspire their Master Bedrooms around! And, we think that was a GREAT decision because guess what? One of those teams was the winner! Scroll down to see the ugly befores and the breathtaking afters of these duos’ hard work! Congratulations Team Red!
We loved how the Holli Zollinger’s ANNAPURNA DENY Duvet Cover was front and center in this winning room. The dark walnut floors and the clean lines are the perfect backdrop to set this citrus pop of a master bedroom in play! It’s so cheery and bright that we can’t help but get bedroom envy. Great job Team Red! HGTV Scott chose this room as the winner for the quality of workmanship, neutral, sale-friendly color palette and smart closet addition.

Even though Team Black didn’t win, we still think they deserve the spotlight with this ocean inspired bright boudoir. Social Proper’s MINT OMBRE DENY Duvet Cover really sets the dreamy mood with its ocean-like gradient and soft turquoise. And don’t forget Cori Dantini’s Turquoise Scallops DENY Throw Pillow to tie it all together. We think the team did an amazing job adding in a trendy pop of sunny yellow and those super hot Moroccan Poufs to the room. We love it!
