The ocean blues are truly calling you in today’s inspiration! We took a look at photographer Polly Wreford and fell in love with this ocean-inspired photo shoot of hers. We love the mix of blue and white in oh-so-many oh-so-pretty patterns, textures, shapes and sizes! How great would this be to live in everyday?! Rock and Roll BOLD! We love this room, brought to us by Russian architecture firm INT2 Architecture. In this space, they show us that bold and subtle can sing together in perfect harmony. The bold geometric shapes cover the space in black and white, specifically set off by the ever-so-popular IKEA LAPPLJUNG RUTA rug.  The beautiful rug pattern is bordered by chartreuse and a saturated robin’s egg blue that set off the room’s color palette. Throughout the space, you’ll find bold pops of chartreuse and just a hint of the oh-so-subtle robin’s egg blue. Add in some personality with some of your favorite vinyl covers and funky accessories and you’re good to go! We certainly think this color palette is destined for rock and roll stardom.

Today’s Daily Digs is inspired off of the cutest DIY project from the creative mom, Merrilee, behind MerMag. To pull her kids’ room together, Merrilee needed just the perfect inspiration. We love this nook of a space from blogger Laurana of Life Thru A Lens.  She prettied up this cabinet with fun geometric pattern and sunny accents! We absolutely love the canary yellow light fixture. Today’s Daily Digs takes us to the site of another event, and this time a wedding! We just love the pizzaz and style behind the design-savvy couple Jeanette and Justin. Justin, a graphic artist who owns National Forest, worked with producers and Design*Sponge contributors Bash, Please to create the style and design of the wedding! He literally wanted “a Stanley Kubrick meets Titanic meets mid-century modern” dinner party followed by a rooftop cocktail party inspired by the Björk video for “Human Behavior,” with pine trees flanking the space. Now that’s a guy who knows what he wants!

The colors and native designs throughout the space feel modern and interesting without sacrificing color. The common diamond and geode theme throughout adds interest, commonality and an overal organic feel. We thought it would be the perfect inspiration for bringing the look into your own home! This edition of Daily Digs takes us to a place where poolside daiquiris and palm trees tickle the senses under the summer sun! We simply LOVE the chic and classy look of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Clad in melon pinks and greens against of sea of sandy white, this hotel transports us to a 50s Miami-style Tiki lounge without the kitsch.

Today’s Daily Digs is comes from a snippet of a home tour with blogger Bailey McCarthey of Peppermint Bliss! She shared her vintage-filled beauty of a home with the gals at Rue Magazine. Her home is filled with quirky art, color and lots of humour. She perfectly mixes in vintage finds throughout her home to give it the ultimate reflection of her personality. We  simply love her dining space with the regal and feminine white chairs framed in rich dark trim set against the vintage wallpaper and brought together with the perfect rugged vintage touch. Today’s Daily Digs is inspired off of a party! We love parties here at DENY. This urban party is brought to us by Aaron Hartselle & Bess Friday, who threw this gorgeous soiree in a beautifully lit warehouse.

Aaron explained, “An amazing collaboration with the uber-talented Bess Friday, this shoot is meant to be a juxtaposition of the urban and the urbane. The warehouse space has amazing natural light, providing an ethereal quality that inspired the muted color palette. The rough wood floors provided the perfect canvas for what evolved into a glam, flower-rich table setting.”

We loved the end result so much that we thought, “We not live in a space this beautifully styled all the time?” So, we came up with a beautiful Uptown Sophisticate Collection to help set you off in style.

Take flight in this clean-lined, minimalist room. From the portfolio of the talented interior designer, Nina Provan, this Melbourne home mixes a “European style aesthetic and Australian living” at its finest. We were inspired by the bold statement of artwork in this bedroom that sets of a minimal color story that is sure to catch the eye. The subtle and airy colors of the painting are mimicked in the room with touches of sunflower yellow and cool gray against a white wash of natural light.

Today’s Daily Digs comes from the showrooms at High Point Market in North Carolina via MASH by Tiffany! This space stood out to us in its clean and crisp feel. How lovely is the gilded and textured bed  frame and side table? It perfectly emulates a subtle bamboo flair to match the theme. The soft corals further enhance the beautiful wallpaper of bursting tropical plants and birds. Even it’s in obvious theme, It manages to miss the kitschy tropical feeling all together and instead leave us feeling calm, serene and completely enamored.

Today’s Daily Digs comes from designer Anna Charlesworth where their family resides in this beautiful Melbourne home. Her husband, Peter, commissioned architects Meacham Nockles McQualter to turn the once block-fronted Victorian into a bright, open and airy home. The light especially shines in this living area, which carries the most beautiful and colorful accents that push through the rays in a bold statement. We’re simply loving the bold azure blue area rug mixed with the pale yellow mid century modern sofa. Hinted with splashes of floral throughout the room and you’ve got a magnificent design!

We can’t get enough of these Acapulco chairs that are flooding the internets. It must be a sign that we should purchase them for the bright summery days!

Today’s Daily Digs comes from the design mavens at Casa Decor and their presentation of this femininely exotic and distressed wonder of a room. Whew, say that five times fast! The washed out treatment on the walls mixed with the clean beauty of the hardwood floors makes for the perfect foundation for a fiesta full of color. Bold yellows and bright fuchsias adorn every aspect of this space only grounded by breathtaking graphical black and whites. It’s what we’d like to think of it as a modern day castle fit for a queen.

This space particularly caught our eye in its modern interpretation of using the inspiration peacock in home decor. The iconic peacock is seen in many shapes and forms in home decor ranging from the color palette to the “eye” of the feather used in pattern and design.

You can do it with a beautiful rustic feel and never sacrifice your love for color! Today’s space comes from the most amazingly decorated and cutest boutique hotel called Basecamp Hotel in South Lake Tahoe area.

By sticking with the same color palette throughout the entire space, the hotel manages to feel perfectly cozy and sleek at the same time. Rich mahogany woods are brought to life with bold pops of orange and accented by lime green in the most original places. It’s bringing the woodland colorscape to life in a stylish little package.

Happy Earth Day! Today’s Daily Digs comes from House Beautiful, featuring a lime green, plant beautiful kitchen that’s clean, crisp and bright. By keeping the base palette in bright white, the bold move of picking one central color injected in the space makes a true statement! This modern woodland comes from Jenny Wolf Interiors. The clean and bright feel of the bedroom has us dreaming soft black and white. The few pops of lipstick red in the space are just the right amount to  keep the space interesting and rich. The bold mix of patterns works perfectly in their monochromatic color scheme of basic black and white. There is so much to love in this space!

Enter Marlowe’s room. It’s the sweetest, chicest, boho finest little gal’s room we’ve seen in a while! With a whimsical circus twist and plenty of pink and orange to boot, we can’t imagine how much fun she’s having in her digs on the daily. And her fashionably creative mom, Drea, knew just how to make her daughter’s space the talk amongst all her friends. “They’re always impressed to see old party decorations become a child’s dream bed canopy.” She advises, “They are only small once, and a child’s room can very much be a party all the time.” We couldn’t agree more.
