Would You Like Fries With That? The World’s Largest Burger
Would you like fries with that? We don’t think you’ll have room after this one… The Black Bear Casino Resort in Minnesota just set the Guinness World Record for the world’s biggest burger on September 2, 2012.
This record setting beast weighed 2,014-tons, and consisted of 60 pounds of bacon, 50 pounds of lettuce, 50 pounds of sliced onion, 40 pounds of pickles and was topped off with 40 pounds of good ole’ American cheese.
While on the grill, the massive burger required a crane to flip it over – and took about 4 hours to cook in a special outdoor oven, while the toasted bun took 7 hours to bake.
“What I saw today was a feat of remarkable teamwork that resulted in a world record burger that actually tastes really good,’ said Guinness Records representative Philip Robertson.
After the record was confirmed, the burger was sliced and diced for the crowd to enjoy — for free! Yum!

Methinks someone has unit confusion.
I’ll believe 2014 pounds but not 2014 tons.
